I’ve been seeing Dan consistently for about 2 years for management of my chronic migraines and tension headaches. He has provided comprehensive treatment including exercises, detailed posture assessments, and dry needling which has been highly effective at managing my head pain. My daughter, a high school senior cross country runner, has been seeing Dr. Dan for 2 years, initially for a serious calf injury other physical therapists had been trying to solve for a year. Dr. Dan solved it in 2 visits and instilled a great deal of confidence in us, regarding his abilities. She has continued to see him whenever she needs to troubleshoot an ache or pain resulting from her running. Dr. Dan literally solves every issue with exercise and when needed, dry needling. We can not recommend him highly enough. He is a brilliant practitioner and an excellent and supportive listener.

Get To Know Dr. Dan Schumann

Dan founded PhysioBin Physical Therapy to pursue his passion of helping people be and stay active so they can enjoy life more fully. He takes particular interest in helping runners and pickleball players, as those are what he enjoys doing himself. He has run the Boston Marathon and has a 5.0+ pickleball rating. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, Dan received a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Athletic Training from UW-Oshkosh and went on to earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Before returning to Milwaukee, he completed a year-long residency in Grants Pass, Oregon to become a board certified orthopedic specialist. Over his career, Dan has taken particular interest in studying biomechanics to become a leading expert at coaching his clients into more efficient movement strategies that allow them to handle the physical demands of their lifestyle better than they had leading up to their injury.
